Paris - Romainville

Galerie Jocelyn Wolff opened in 2003 with “Occupation” by Clemens von Wedemeyer who was already exploring the dynamics of crowd movement as analysed by Elias Canetti. In 2019, Wedemeyer produces the video installation "70.001" about mass demonstrations with a software for virtual worlds and transfers Canetti into digital space. This work is the focus of the inaugural exhibition of the gallery’s new space in Komunuma in Romainville exploring the dialectical qualities of fragmentary composition a theme that is developed by many of the gallery’s artists
