On the occasion of this edition of the ArteBA fair, Galerie Jocelyn Wolff is proud to present the work of artist Diego Bianchi (b* 1969, Buenos Aires, Argentina) alongside that of Franz Erhard Walther (b. 1939, Fulda, Germany). Although they come from different generations and artistic contexts, both artists share a sculptural approach that incorporates performance and actively engages the viewer’s body and gaze. In Walther’s work, this relationship is embodied through fabric pieces activated by the public: by wearing or inhabiting them, viewers become co-authors of the sculptural gesture. Bianchi, on the other hand, stages a fragmented body—twisted or fused with everyday objects—in installations and performances that combine humor, social critique, and absurdity. This presentation reflects the gallery’s ongoing commitment to fostering intergenerational dialogue and creating resonances between historical and contemporary artistic practices.
